Camper rental terms
Key information about booking a camper, driver requirements, payment, the deposit, insurance and travelling abroad.
For the driver
- The rented vehicle may be driven by a person with at least 3 (three) years of driving experience and a category B driving licence.
- The renter must check the oil and water levels and the tyre pressure every time the vehicle's fuel tank is filled or a new day of travel begins.
Payment
- The rental day is counted from the date stated in the handover certificate. The rental agreement takes effect once the renter has paid the reservation fee (30% of the total rental price), which guarantees that the lessor will not hand the vehicle over to anyone else or use it otherwise.
- The vehicle, prepared for use, is handed over once the renter has paid the full rental price and an 800 € deposit. If the vehicle is returned in perfect order, with no additional defects, clean and with full fuel tanks, the deposit is returned to the renter.
- The deposit is blocked on a credit card (unless agreed otherwise).
- Comprehensive (KASKO) insurance is included in the rental price.
- The renter must transfer the full rental fee to the lessor's account no later than 14 days before the rental begins.
Other
- The renter may take the vehicle abroad. The lessor undertakes to issue a green card – third-party liability insurance (the renter must make sure that the country to be visited is on the green card (third-party liability insurance) list. Otherwise the renter must take out insurance at their own expense before entering that country).
- The lessor hands the vehicle over to the renter with full fuel tanks and in sound technical condition.
