Frequently asked questions
Answers to the most common questions about camper rental, travel, buying, service and parts.
Booking a camper: how far in advance should I book?
Campers are busiest from May to September every year. For that season we suggest booking at least 4 months ahead. In late autumn, winter and early spring demand is somewhat lower. If you decide on a camper holiday at the last minute, call us – campers sometimes become free when other customers change their plans. If you have no fixed dates, write to us and our team will suggest the best dates for your holiday.
Which driving licence category do I need to drive a camper?
Our rental campers weigh up to 3,500 kg, so they can be driven with a category B driving licence.
What is included in the camper rental price? Is insurance included?
The camper rental price includes:
- Third-party liability (with a green card) and comprehensive (KASKO) insurance (KASKO excess – 800 €);
- A briefing when you collect the camper;
- Two full gas cylinders (11-13 kg);
- A full water tank (100 l);
- Toilet chemicals;
- Outdoor furniture;
- Bike racks (let us know when booking the camper);
- Free parking for your car during the trip.
What is gas used for in a camper? How long do the full gas cylinders last?
The gas cylinders are used for:
- heating water and the camper;
- the hob;
- the fridge (without mains electricity the fridge runs on gas).
Gas consumption depends on each traveller and the time of year. In summer, when the camper needs no heating, two gas cylinders last 3-4 weeks. In winter, with the camper heated around the clock, one cylinder lasts 2-3 days.
What equipment comes with the camper?
- Water tank (100 l);
- Hob, fridge, shower, toilet;
- Hose for filling up with water;
- Electric cables with an extension lead for hooking up at a campsite;
- Outdoor awning;
- Thermal blinds and insect screens on the camper windows.
How much does camper rental cost in Lithuania?
The camper rental price depends on the model, the season and the length of the rental.
- Off season (1 October – 30 April): from 90 €/day
- Peak season (1 May – 14 June, 15 June – 31 August, 1 September – 30 September): from 100 €/day
The longer the rental, the lower the daily price. You will find each camper's price on the rental prices page, and the exact price for your dates in the booking system.

Is it better to buy a camper or rent one?
Renting a camper is the right choice if:
- You travel by camper less than 4-6 weeks a year;
- You want to find out whether camper travel suits you;
- You do not want to deal with storing, maintaining and insuring a camper;
- You want to try a different camper model each time.
Buying a camper is a sensible investment if:
- You travel by camper more than 6-8 weeks a year;
- You want to adapt the camper to your own needs;
- You have somewhere to keep the camper;
- You are ready to invest in a long-term travel companion.
Our team will gladly advise you on any questions about both renting and buying.
How do I prepare for my first camper trip?
Before you leave:
- Arrive rested to collect the camper – the detailed briefing matters;
- Plan your route in advance, including campsites or overnight stops;
- Check that your category B driving licence is valid;
- Bring the documents you need – a passport or identity card.
What to bring:
- Bed linen and towels (unless you would like to rent them);
- Food and drinks for the first days;
- Personal hygiene items;
- A phone charger for a 12V car socket;
- Travel games, books or other entertainment.
Driving tips for beginners:
- Drive the first kilometres carefully – a camper is larger and taller than an ordinary car;
- Mind the camper's height before driving under bridges or into underground car parks;
- Ask a passenger to guide you when reversing;
- Try to park on level ground – it matters for the fridge and the water system.
When you collect the camper we give a detailed briefing on how all the systems work, so you will feel confident even on your first trip. Roadside assistance is available 24/7.
Which camper is best for a trip around Europe?
By number of seats:
- For 2-4 people – compact campers, easier to manoeuvre through old-town streets;
- For 5-7 people – spacious family campers with a more comfortable interior layout.
Equipment that matters on a long trip:
- Automatic gearbox – more comfortable over long distances;
- Good heating – even in summer it can be cool in the Alps or Scandinavia;
- A large water tank (100+ litres);
- Solar panel – independence away from campsites;
- Air conditioning – important in southern Europe.
You may take our rental campers abroad – we issue a green card for third-party liability insurance in European countries. Our customers most often travel to Latvia, Estonia, Poland, Germany, Italy, France, Spain and Scandinavia.
